How to Choose a Medical Marketing Company

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

Do you own a medical practice or are the head of advertising at a hospital? Do you own and operate a website that offers medical advice, sells medical equipment, or is a resource for medical based products? If so, you must seek out and obtain health marketing resources that can effectively market and advertise your medical business. You must find a medical marketing company that has a proven reputation and history of marketing and that has a positive resume that they can use to show you what they have done for other companies like your own.
When it comes to choosing a medical marketing company, there are many things that you should consider. First and foremost, you must find a marketing company that actually has experience with medical sites. Many Internet Marketing companies do not have experience when it comes to hospital marketing and health marketing. Just because an online Internet Marketing firm may have a lengthy resume of companies that they have done marketing for, if they don’t have any health related companies on their listing, you should seek out another marketing firm. Marketing for the health industry is much different than marketing for a website that sells video games.
A proper and effective marketing firm should also be very experienced when it comes to medical Search Engine Optimization. All successful marketing firms should have a professional web-designer and SEO expert on hand who has experience with medical SEO and hospital SEO. SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization. Without this experience a marketing firm will be unable to provide your medical hospital with the type of effective and proven marketing that it deserves. That is because without proper SEO, web users will never be able to find your companies website unless they know its direct name or web address. This is not efficient if you want ‘every day’ people to be able to discover your website and services.
This is even more important if you sell products or services from your website such as medical supplies. You can’t expect people to purchase these types of products unless they can find your website. This can only be accomplished through effective SEO coding and content. Therefore, you must be sure that the company you choose to handle your marketing has experience in medical based SEO.
Finally, you will want to obtain the services of an Internet Marketing firm who truly understands your vision and desires. You will want to choose an Internet Marketing firm that can take your ideas and turn them into a reality. You should not only ask the Internet Marketing firm that you are considering to show you their resume but you should also contact other companies that have used them. By doing this you can learn more about the Internet Marketing company that you are considering. People who have used their services are more apt to provide you with an honest review on these companies.
Additionally, you will want to choose an Internet Marketing firm who has creative and proven advertising practices. Once they have created and established your web presence, you will need them to direct web traffic to your website via advertising. If an Internet Marketing firm does not offer these types of services, then you should do more research until you find an Internet Marketing firm that is willing to work with you through the entire process of marketing your medical based company.
Therefore, keep these things in mind: you need a company that has a strong reputation and resume, you need a company that has knowledge in web-design and medical SEO, you need a company who understands your vision, you need a company that understands advertising and traffic building, and you need a company that can do all of these things!

Which is the Best Mail Order Diabetic Supplies Company?

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

The best mail order diabetic supplies company is the one that will serve all your needs adequately.

This means that you have to get all the supplies you need at the right time. There are some characteristics you should be looking at to know whether you have the best with you or not.

Renata Nyleve Editor of the “Free Diabetic Testing Supplies” website — http://www.FreeDiabeticTestingSupplies.net — pointed out;

“…Before you sign up to receive mail order services by any diabetic supplies company, they have to guarantee you satisfaction. You have to find out from them what happens when you receive products you don’t need or are not satisfied with and whether it is in order to return them. This is important because you are trying to keep a disease in check and there is no use of getting and paying for products that are not going to help you…”

You should also work with a company that promises fast delivery of goods just in case you have an emergency. You should find out from them how fast their mail orders will get to you and compare it with another company to see which one gives you an advantage. Also the mail order diabetic products company will have automatic shipment services so you don’t have to go through the same process of ordering every time you want them but the supplies will automatically be sent to you at the end of a certain period of time.

You will need customer services to inquire on something from time to time hence make sure you can get them anytime you want. The company should have enough customer care representatives to handle all their clients. As for the payment, confirm first if the company accepts the kind of private insurance company you are using or it just accepts Medicare.

“…The best mail order diabetic supplies company will also be the one that specializes in providing diabetic supplies only rather than dealing in many other medical supplies. This way, you can be sure they are dedicated to their diabetic patients…” added R. Nyleve.

Financing your Medical Supply or DME Company with Medical Factoring

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Medical supply companies in general are very profitable enterprises. However, most medical supply companies operate on a very tight cash flow. Unfortunately, the challenging billing procedures and slow payment cycles of insurance companies, HMOs and Medicare/Medicaid create a situation where many companies wait 30 to 60 days before getting paid.

Cash flow can get even tighter if the company’s sales grow, or if the owners decide to open new locations. When this happens, most company owners try to obtain bank financing through a loan or line of credit. However, qualifying for bank financing is incredibly challenging as they will only lend money to a business that shows profits for three straight years and can provide audited financials.

There is a financing alternative in the healthcare industry that has been used with success with medical supply companies. This solution provides you with quick financing based exclusively on your sales. Furthermore, since financing is tied to sales, the line of financing grows as your sales grow. The solution is to factor your medical insurance claims using medical receivables factoring.

Medical factoring provides you with immediate financing based on your slow paying insurance and Medicare/Medicaid claims. Rather than waiting 30 to 60 days to get paid, with medical factoring you can get paid in a few days. This frees up significant cash, allowing you to finance operations, and more importantly, to buy supplies and fuel new sales.

As opposed to bank financing, where the bank lends you money, the factoring company buys your invoices and pays you immediately for them. The process is fairly straightforward. But more importantly, this also means that you are free from the traditional bank lending requirements. Medical receivables factoring is easier to qualify for, and often, the owners’ personal credit is not a consideration.

Factoring your medical receivables can be an ideal solution for your medical supply company if your main challenge is that you cannot afford to wait up to 60 days to get paid by insurance companies. If that is the case, medical factoring should provide you with the working capital you need to operate and grow your business.
